During their free time, volunteers travel around Yakushima discovering its mountains and beaches.
ボランティアたちは、フリータイムに屋久島を旅して、山々や海辺を楽しみます。
“The island is a wonderful place, I felt full of life following my time there. I saw the sunset every day, was able to go to an ocean onsen any day I wanted, and spent time on my own in the mountains afterward.”
「その島はとても素晴らしい場所で、私はそこで過ごしている間、生きている実感がありました。毎日沈む夕日を見て、いつでも入りたい時に海辺の温泉に入り、その後は山で一人で過ごしました。」
We hope that by visiting us at Yakushima Senvus Village, they also get to reconnect with nature and feel the power of Yakushima.
