The “Butterfly Pea” is a vine-like legume, that receives its name because of its bright blue flowers, that opened up wide resemble a lovely butterfly.
「バタフライピー」は、つる性のマメ科植物で、大きく開いた鮮やかな青色の花の姿が、美しい蝶に見えることからその名がつきました。
Its flowers produce a beautiful blue tea, and are also used as natural colouring for food, so there’s a lot of ways to enjoy them. ^^
花からは美しいブルーのハーブティーが作れるほか、料理の天然着色料としても使われるなど、楽しみ方はさまざまです。^^
