From the top of Yakushima | 屋久島の頂上から

The highest mountain in Yakushima is Miyanoura-dake at an elevation of 1,936 meters.
屋久島の一番高い山は、標高1,936mの「宮之浦岳」という山です。

Miyanoura-dake is the highest peak even in the Kyushu region.
宮之浦岳は、九州においても最高峰を誇ります。

下の写真は、標高約1,640mにある花之江河（はなのえご）です。

This open wetland is a kind of special view in the dense-forest island of Yakushima.
ひらけた湿地は、鬱蒼とした森に覆われた屋久島では特別な光景です。

From the summit, you can see no higher mountains than you. It’s also a precious view in Yakushima.
山頂に到着すると、自分より高い山が見当たらず、これも屋久島では新鮮な光景に感じます。
