Walking around Yakushima, it’s not rare to find shrines close to the mountains or the shore.
屋久島を散策していると、山や海岸の近くで神社を見つけることがよくあります。
In one of her strolls, Marianela from Argentina, who visited Yakushima Senvus Village as a volunteer 2 years ago, found this shrine at the foot of the mountains. There was no one around, and going into the shrine she found herself surrounded by nature and silence.
2年前にボランティアとして「屋久島センバスビレッジ」を訪れた、アルゼンチン出身のマリアネラは、散歩中に山のふもとでこの神社を見つけました。周りには誰もおらず、神社の中は、自然と静寂に包まれていたそうです。
A daily walk easily becomes a fond memory in Yakushima. ^^
